(Berlin, August 31, 2022) Deutsche Bahn issued today a CHF bond (ISIN: CH1204259811) via its financing subsidiary, Deutsche Bahn Finance GmbH. The ten-year bond has a total volume of CHF 300 million (EUR 308 million) and bears a coupon of 1.9500%. The issuing price was 100.4289%, resulting in a yield of 1,9025%.
The bond proceeds were swapped into Euros. The proceeds of the issue will be used by Deutsche Bahn to increase its financial flexibility. The bond was placed to institutional investors from Switzerland and will be listed on the Swiss Stock Exchange SIX.
The issuing consortium was jointly led by Credit Suisse and Deutsche Bank.
