(Berlin, June 22, 2020) Deutsche Bahn successfully issued a private placement (ISIN: XS2195499111) via its financing subsidiary Deutsche Bahn Finance GmbH. The 4-year bond has a total volume of JPY 12 billion (€ 100 million). The bond bears a coupon of 0.10%. The issuing price was 100% resulting in a yield of 0.10%. The proceeds of the issue will be used by Deutsche Bahn to increase its financial flexibility. The bond was placed via SMBC Nikko as a private placement.
