(Berlin, February 15, 2022) Deutsche Bahn (DB Group) has been upgraded in the ESG Rating by the rating agency MSCI from “A” to the second best grade “AA,” thereby recognizing the DB Group’s commitment and performance in the field of sustainability.
MSCI stated the upgrade was mainly driven by improvements to the already strong corporate governance practices.
The ESG rating agency provides ratings on a scale from CCC at the lower end to AAA at the upper end. With its AA rating DB Group belongs to the world's best companies in the sector “Road & Rail Transport”, thereby placing the company in a very good position within the industry.
