(Berlin, January 11, 2021) Deutsche Bahn successfully issued a CHF bond (ISIN: CH0581947808) via its financing subsidiary, Deutsche Bahn Finance GmbH. The fifteen-year bond has a total volume of CHF 400 million (EUR 370 million). The bond bears a coupon of 0.100%. The issuing price was 100.522% resulting in a yield of 0.065%.
The bond proceeds were swapped into Euros. The proceeds of the issue will be used by Deutsche Bahn to increase its financial flexibility. The bond was placed especially to institutional investors from Switzerland and will be listed on the Swiss Stock Exchange SIX.
The issuing consortium was jointly led by Credit Suisse and Deutsche Bank.
