(Berlin, February 21, 2019) Deutsche Bahn successfully issued a private placement (ISIN: XS1951373585) via its financing subsidiary Deutsche Bahn Finance GmbH. The 15-year bond has a total volume of NOK 1,000 million (about € 103 million).
The bond bears a coupon of 2.705 %. The issuing price was 100 % resulting in a yield of 2.705 %. The loan proceeds were swapped into EUR. The proceeds of the issue will be used by Deutsche Bahn to increase its financial flexibility.
The bond was placed via Deutsche Bank as a private placement.
