(Berlin, June 25, 2020) Deutsche Bahn successfully issued a further private placement (ISIN: XS2198394640) via its financing subsidiary Deutsche Bahn Finance GmbH. The 15-year bond has a total volume of SEK 500 million (€ 48 million). The bond bears a coupon of 1.52%. The issuing price was 100% resulting in a yield of 1.52%.
The bond proceeds were swapped into Euros. The proceeds of the issue will be used by Deutsche Bahn to increase its financial flexibility. The bond was placed via SEB as a private placement.
