(Berlin, March 6, 2018) Deutsche Bahn increased today the fifteen-year AUD bond issued in October 2017 (volume: 150 million AUD) via its financing subsidiary, Deutsche Bahn Finance GmbH by AUD 150 million (€ 94 million).
The bond bears a coupon of 4.050 %. The issuing price was 102.782 % resulting in a yield of 3.800 %. The loan proceeds were swapped into EUR. The proceeds of the new issue will be used by Deutsche Bahn to increase its financial flexibility.
The bond was sold via HSBC as a private placement to an institutional investor in Asia.
