(Berlin, May 22, 2019) Deutsche Bahn successfully issued a CHF bond today via its financing subsidiary, Deutsche Bahn Finance GmbH. The bond has a total volume of CHF 500 million (EUR 443 million) and was issued in two tranches.

The bond proceeds were swapped into Euros. The proceeds of the new issue will be used by Deutsche Bahn to increase its financial flexibility.
The bond was placed to institutional investors from Switzerland and will be listed on the Swiss Stock Exchange SIX.
The issuing consortium was jointly led by BNP Paribas and Credit Suisse.
