(Berlin, November 10, 2023) Deutsche Bahn issued today an AUD bond (ISIN: AU3CB0304483) under its Kangaroo program via its financing subsidiary, Deutsche Bahn Finance GmbH. The ten-year bond has a total volume of AUD 250 million (EUR 149 million) and bears a coupon of 6.016%. The issuing price was 100.00%, resulting in a yield of 6.016%.
The bond proceeds were swapped into Euros. The proceeds of the issue will be used by Deutsche Bahn to increase its financial flexibility. The bond was placed to institutional investors from Asia and Australia.
The issuing consortium was jointly led by Daiwa and Deutsche Bank.
