Dr. Rüdiger Grube leaves Deutsche Bahn

Dr. Richard Lutz will take over the provisional position of Chairman of the Management Board • Prof. Dr. Dr. Utz-Hellmuth Felcht, Chairman of the Supervisory Board thanks Dr. Grube for his commitment

(Berlin, January 30, 2017) The Supervisory Board of Deutsche Bahn unanimously approved the request of Dr. Rüdiger Grube to terminate his appointment to DB Chairman without delay with immediate effect and to terminate his current contract through a resolution agreement. The Supervisory Board has asked the Personnel Committee to agree on the corresponding modalities with Dr. Grube.

The Supervisory Board would like to thank Dr. Grube for his unusually great commitment to the company in the past eight years. The Supervisory Board will make a timely decision on a successor. In accordance with the rules of procedure, Dr. Richard Lutz will take over the provisional position of Chairman of the Management Board.
