(Berlin, November 12, 2018) Deutsche Bahn successfully issued a private placement today via its financing subsidiary Deutsche Bahn Finance GmbH. The 25-year bond has a total volume of € 125 million. It is the longest € bond ever issued by Deutsche Bahn.
The bond bears a coupon of 1.85 %. The issuing price was 100 % resulting in a yield of 1.85 %. The proceeds of the new issue will be used by Deutsche Bahn to increase its financial flexibility.
The bond was sold via Crédit Agricole as a private placement to institutional investors in Asia.
