Deutsche Bahn Group’s financing company has changed its registered office and legal form while retaining its legal identity
(Berlin, September 1, 2017) Today, the registered office and legal form of Deutsche Bahn Group’s financing company was changed while retaining its legal identity and registered in the commercial register of Charlottenburg in Berlin, Germany.
Amsterdam-based Deutsche Bahn Finance B.V. has moved to Berlin and became Deutsche Bahn Finance GmbH.
Moving the company to the same place as DB Group’s headquarters will allow processes to be optimized and costs to be reduced.
According to our sources, this is the first transfer of this kind for a financing company active on the capital market.
All bonds (notification pursuant to the terms of bonds) remain fully guaranteed by Deutsche Bahn AG (DB AG). The role of Deutsche Bahn Finance as DB Group’s financing company and its structural classification within DB Group will remain unchanged. This means that DB Group’s financial management system will not change.
