CFO Levin Holle accepts position in the German Government

DB's CFO to move to the Federal Chancellery effective immediately - Supervisory Board Chair Werner Gatzer and DB CEO Richard Lutz recognize the departing CFO's contribution to DB Group. (Berlin, May 6, 2025) Levin Holle, Member of the Management Board for Finance and Logistics at Deutsche Bahn AG, has accepted a position within the Federal Government, effective immediately. At the request of Federal Chancellor Friedrich Merz, he will serve as the Chancellor's personal G7/G20 Summit advisor on economic, financial and energy policy at the Federal Chancellery. Holle joined DB Group on February 1, 2020. As CFO, he was notably responsible for the sales of the Group subsidiaries DB Arriva and DB Schenker. Martin Seiler, Holle's deputy and Member of the Management Board for Human Resources and Legal Affairs, will serve as interim CFO. DB Group hopes to find a permanent replacement as quickly as possible.
