(Berlin, June 23, 2021) Deutsche Bahn successfully issued a further € benchmark bond (ISIN: XS2357951164) via its financing subsidiary, Deutsche Bahn Finance GmbH. The short thirty-year-bond has a total volume of EUR 1,000 million. The bond bears a coupon of 1.125%. The issuing price was 99.522% resulting in a yield of 1.144%.
The proceeds of the issue will be used by Deutsche Bahn to increase its financial flexibility. The bond was primarily placed to institutional investors from Europe.
The issuing consortium was jointly led by DZ Bank, Mizuho, NatWest Markets and Société Générale.
