(Berlin, September 28, 2015) The rating agency Moody’s confirmed today its rating assessments as well as the rating outlook of Deutsche Bahn AG (DB AG). The Moody’s ratings of DB AG are therefore unchanged “Aa1” (long-term) and “P-1” (short-term). The outlook is also unchanged classified “stable”.
At the same time Moody’s downgraded the stand alone rating (BCA) of DB AG byone notch to “A1” from “Aa3”. This revision reflects the opinion of Moody’s, that the weaker than expected revenue and profit development resulted in credits metrics that are still below Moody’s guidelines.
